The 5 steps to create a workable requirement in SAP® WM & EWM
What is a “workable” requirement?
A requirement in our context is a functional need that our SAP system must be able to perform. A workable requirement documents this need in a satisfying degree of comprehensiveness and level of detail. Satisfying enough to allow functional and / or technical SAP Consultants to either develop / configure / customize the system accordingly or provide a documentation for somebody else to do the same without deeper technical or functional knowledge.
Of course – given a specific size of scope – it makes sense cut requirements into work packages and realize iteratively with an agile approach. In this scenario the term workable relates to the work package of the current iteration.
So what are the most important steps to realize those definitions in the context of SAP WM & EWM?
